Site work and paving for a civil project in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Scope of work includes but not limited to the following: Installation of stormwater facilities, reconstruction of paved roadway, and restoration of areas impacted during or prior to construction. A certifed bank check or bond payable to North Huntingdon Township or a bid bond on the bid form executed by the Bidder and a surety company approved by the OWNER, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of bid, must be submitted with each bid or bids will be considered nonresponsive and immediately rejected. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifcations or any applicable statues of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or any applicable ordinances. No bid may be withdrawn for (60) sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Bidder must insure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex or nation origin. North Huntingdon Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates will be required on this project.
