A. The Project provides for the replacement and installation of 1. Contract No. WWMA_2025-01, Odor Control Media Replacement B. Without intending to limit or restrict the extent of Work required under any Contract, the Work for each Contract generally comprises the following: 1. All labor, materials, tools and equipment, transportation, fuel, power,supplies and services necessary to complete the work as herein specified. C. Unless otherwise specified, all work shall be performed in accordance with generally accepted standards of construction methods and within the guidelines established by these specifications. D. The intent and meaning of the Contract Documentsisthat the Seller(s), under the terms of the Contract(s), will take such action as necessary and/or required to provide labor, supervision, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, facilities, etc., whether temporary or permanent, which are indicated or may be reasonably inferred from the Contract Documents. Questions received less than 10 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The contract consists of the replacement of approximately 346 cubic feet of odor control media at the Authoritys Brush Creek Treatment Plant. Questions Due Date: Mar 6th 2025, 4:00 PM EST Online Portal Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a Certified Check or Bid Bond in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid total and made payable to or naming as obligee the Western Westmoreland Municipal Authority. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date as provided by the Act of November 26, 1978 (P.L. 1309, No. 317), as amended by the Act of December 12, 1994 (P.L. 1042, No. 142). Bidders must comply with all State antibid-rigging regulations pertaining to work associated with this Project, and will be required to submit an executed non-collusion affidavit with the bid. All bidders are hereby notified that in regard to any contract pursuant to this advertisement, businesses will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this notice and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of gender, race, color, creed, sex, age, physical disability or national origin in consideration for an award. Similarly the successful bidder shall in no manner discriminate against or intimidate any employee involved in the manufacture of supplies, the performance of work, or any other activity required under the contract on account of gender, race, creed or color. The Authority reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the Authority, and to reject any or all proposals. The contract consists of the replacement of approximately 346 cubic feet of odor control media at the Authority's Brush Creek Treatment Plant.
