Renovation of an educational facility in Saint-Constant, Quebec. Design plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Upgrades, repairs and improvements to Piché-Dufrost elementary school located at 26 Chemin Sainte-Catherine J5A 1G2 in Saint-Constant. The scope of work includes the repair of the roof, building envelope and the interior finishes. In addition, the project includes asbestos removal, replacement of the boiler and removal of the existing oil tank and replacement of the electrical input. Site remediation work is also expected (drainage, road replacement, etc.). The exact scope and extent of work are being finalized. TIMELINE: Preliminary planning is underway. Working drawings are expected to begin in late 2025. Project may be implemented by construction phases. Owner expects to issue a tender(s) for contractor(s) in spring/summer 2026.
