Description

Renovation of a detention facility in Agassiz, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.

This is the Phase 2 solicitation following an Invitation to Qualify (Phase 1). Only qualified suppliers from Phase 1 have been invited to bid. This Contract covers the following work at the Kent Institution – Pod 1 and Pod 2 at 4732 Cemetery Road, Agassiz, BC. Entire project scope shall be implemented in six phases in accordance with following sequence: Range N, Range P, Range S, Range T, Range V and Range W. One phase shall be fully completed for occupancy before commencing the next phase. Only one range will be permitted for construction activities at a time. All other areas within buildings Pod 1 and Pod 2 shall remain operational for Correctional Services Canada functions. Install Cell Door Splash Guard for all cell doors in accordance with drawings. Patch and make good for the affected areas, door and frame finishes.
