Anticipated Substantial Completion: Monday, March 10, 2025. The Mahwah Board of Education reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof in accordance with law, to waive any non-material informality in the bids, and to award the bid to a responsible and responsive bidder. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the date set for the opening of the bids, asset forth above. The Work consists of the following: - Abandonment of the existing 8" water line below the turf field & filling with free flowing concrete. - Sawcutting & removal of pavement for replacement of the water line. - Installation of 805 linear feet of 8" ductile iron pipe water line including fittings & thrust blocks. - Replacement of the existing water valve at one end of the replacement and relocation/reuse of another recently installed water valve at the other end of the replacement. - Concrete encasing of the new water line where the line crosses the existing sanitary line. - Sanitization & pressure testing of the new water line. - Restoration of the site including replacement pavement & grass regrowth.
