Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Northfield, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The bid specifications are for Birch Grove Park Picnic Area improvements, including concrete ADA parking, construction of stamped concrete walk, and rehabilitation of existing gazebo located at 1600 Burton Avenue in the City of Northfield. Bid security in the form of a certified treasurer's or cashier's check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the bid amount not to exceed $20,000 is required and should be made payable to The City of Northfield with a letter of surety. Successful Bidder is required to pay the higher of the current State or Federal Prevailing Wage Rate to all workers employed on the project. Successful Bidder must furnish a one hundred (100%) percent Performance Bond and one hundred (100%) percent Payment Bond issued by a surety satisfactory to the Municipality. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of The Affirmative Action Regulations of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq Financing for the FY2023 Local Recreation Improvement Grant (2023-04960-0666-00) is made possible by a grant from the New Jersey Department of Transportation. If Mailed, via Usps, an Additional Payment of $25.00 Will Be Required. Monies Are Non-refundable and Should Be Made Payable to Schaeffer Nassar Scheidegg.
