Stillwater Complex Parking Lot Improvements - Phase III The project includes but is not limited to Milling 2" thick of the existing parking lot as required to maintain the existing grades or to the proposed grades as provided on the plans and installing HMA 9.5M64 Surface Course, 2" thick, Pavement Excavation and installation of HMA 9.5M64, 2" thick, HMA 19M64 Base Course, 2" thick, and dense grade aggregate, 6" thick, Replacement of existing Storm water Pipes and Inlets as shown on the plans, Removal of existing concrete curb and installation of new concrete curb where directed, Removal of existing concrete sidewalk and the installation of new concrete sidewalk where directed, Installing 6" Thick Concrete Pad where directed, Replacing handicap ramps as shown on the plans and where directed, Installation of proposed ADA compliant ramps, Installing and restoring pavement markings, Installing and replacing regulatory and parking signs, Restoring disturbed vegetated/lawn areas. As a minimum, all lawns shall be restored with topsoil, fertilizer, seed, and mulch. Other material shall be restored in-kind, provide stage construction to minimize employee parking inconvenience, Providing all necessary traffic directors and traffic control in accordance with the MUTCD, Roadway / Parking Lot shall be clean and open to traffic at the end of every day. Each bid shall also be accompanied by such other documents and information as are required by the Bid Documents. Bids shall be on a total lump sum basis for the base contract as listed in the Form of Proposal listed on Page C-1 of the Project Manual. Bidders are required to comply with the laws and regulations of the State of New Jersey pertaining to construction projects, including, but not limited to the following: N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17:27, "Law Against Discrimination"; N.J.S.A. 52:25- 24.2 "An Act Requiring the Reporting of the Names and Addresses of Shareholders or Partners owning over Ten Percent (10%) of an Enterprise";," N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq., "Prevailing Wage Act"; N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 "Business Registration Act"; N.J.S.A. 19:44 A-20.4 et. seq., New Jersey Local Unit "Pay to Play" Law; and all amendments thereof. Bidders must submit with their bids the non-collusion affidavit contained in the contract documents. Prevailing wages established under the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act will apply to this contract. The contract documents contain requirements addressing prevailing labor wage rates, labor standards, and nondiscrimination in hiring practices. The Atlantic County Improvement Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
