The Town of Richmond is seeking a contractor to install pickleball courts at Browns Ct. Park located at 58 Browns Ct. Richmond, VT 05477 Details o Bid is for complete installation of four standard-size pickleball courts o Total size of courts' footprint is 60' x 120' o Soil removal o 6' high perimeter chain link fence with door/opening near each court o 2 doors/gates o 4' high divider chain link fence between 2 sets of courts o Finished product will include striping for four courts and properly supported pickleball nets o Specifications for the sleeves and how they are installed o Optional request to provide sound barrier solutions (a separate RFP for Pickleball Sound Barrier Solutions will be posted soon but you may include details in this RFP instead) Bids are to contain the following: o Construction Specifications including: o Site preparation o Court surface material specifications o Fencing specifications o Pickleball net specifications o Pickleball line striping specifications o Timeline o Date which contractor will begin project o Timeline for completion of project o Warranty period o Three references o Completed Bid Form (enclosed) with lump sum pricing September 5: Any questions due in writing or by email (dwardwell@richmondv.gov) September 9: Answers will be provided by end of day on September 9 Contractors are required to submit a sealed and signed copy of their bid. There must be three copies of the bid. Electronic copies will not be accepted prior to the deadline but shall be submitted after bids are open. The bid will be awarded subject to availability of funds. The Town of Richmond Selectboard reserves the right to reject any and all bids based on financial constraint or other factors that negatively impact the successful completion of the project.
