This project consists of: approximately a 60,520 square foot, 3-story Academic Science Building on the current site of parking lot #5. It will house laboratory classrooms and support spaces for the study of biology, chemistry, and physics. It will also include a separate approximately 880 square foot greenhouse outbuilding with associated site improvements and utilities. Finally, the project will include asbestos abatement and demolition of Frich Hall and New Science Hall, and returning the sites to green space, plus abandonment and demolition of part of University Avenue and development of a new pedestrian walkway.
