Site work for a water / sewer project in Newington, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work includes Furnish and install approximately 4,300 LF of new 8 ductile iron water main Replace 25 water services Replace four (4) hydrant assemblies Permanent trench repairs where roadway is impacted by pipe installations Liquidated damages shall be in the amount of $1,000.00 for each calendar day beyond the date established for substantial Addenda to this bid document, including response to questions submitted will not be provided directly to bidders, but will be posted on the Citys website, under the project heading by 4:00 pm on September 25, 2024 The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept any bid, to waive any informality on bids received, and to take any action that it may deem to be in the best interest of the Owner. Completion time for the project will be 75 days for substantial completion and 90 days for final completion from the date specified on the Notice to Proceed. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of TEN (10%) percent of Bidders maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check or bank money order The successful bidder must furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds in the Citys standard format (Section B-3 and B-4 respectively) and will be required to execute the Contract Agreement within 10 days following notification of the acceptance of the Bid.
