Renovation of a residential development in Cantonment, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

General Contractors that are licensed, insured, and in good standing with the County are eligible to bid on the attached scope; partial competitive bids for specialty items limited to roofing and septic/sewer services will also be accepted. SCOPE OF WORK The rehabilitation of this owner-occupied, single-family, residence is to make the home safer, more energy efficient, and easier to access within the provisions of federal, state, and county laws and ordinances and the SHIP repair program. The rehabilitation of this home will include the following tasks as outlined below and the repaired areas are to match as close as possible to their existing surroundings. If additional tasks beyond those included in this scope are discovered, then additional funds may be allocated. Before any additional work is performed, written county approval will be needed. There is no federal funding for this project. 1.WINDOWS: Replace the existing windows and patio door slider with new single-hung vinyl impact windows as per the Escambia County Building Code. These units are to be complete with trims, screens, and low-e glass. Repair any windowsill or buck that is rotten or damaged. Windows Total $_____________ 2.PLUMBING: Remove the existing tub and replace it with a homeowner supplied tub. Repair surrounding areas and replace the tub faucet with a new tub set. Replace any old piping and fittings with new, install new supply lines, install all new drain assemblies from fixtures to their respective drains where needed. All work is to be completed as per the Escambia County Building Code. Plumbing Total $_____________ 3.ELECTRICAL: Replace all of the damaged or missing receptacle and or outlet switches plate covers. Install two new master bathroom lights with LED lights. Electrical Total $_______________ 4.CABINETRY: Replace the existing kitchen countertop with square-edge laminate tops, including 4" side and back splashes to match the existing configuration. Install a new sink faucet with sprayer, 3/4hp garbage disposal and stainless-steel double bowl sink including braided supply lines and new waste lines as well as new shut off valves as per the Escambia County Building Code. Cabinetry Total $______________ 5.INTERIOR DRYWALL: Repair all drywall surfaces that are damaged due to code up-grades and existing surfaces that are damaged or incomplete. Repaired areas are to match as close as possible to existing surrounding area. Interior Wall Repairs Total $______________ 6.FLOORING: Remove existing master bath and closet flooring and prep floors. Install new LVP floor per manufacturer's instruction, include a moisture barrier as needed. Pattern and color are to be determined by the homeowner. Include matching transitions strips where needed, any missing base molding and install new shoe molding. Then caulk and paint the trim. Flooring Total $_______________ 7.INTERIOR TRIM: Repair and reinforce the damaged master closet wire shelving. Interior Trim total $_______________ OPTIONAL: SCOPE OF WORK 8.ROOFING: Remove existing roof covering to the decking and replace any deteriorated or damaged decking with like, kind, and quality of existing materials. Repair or replace any damaged roof framing to include rafter tails, rafters, and barge rafters. Refasten and certify decking attachment. Install a peel and stick underlayment water barrier. Replace existing drip edge with new metal drip edge. Install new slant-back vents, replace gas vent caps and all flashing as required. Replace all boots with new lead, EPDM, and or metal boots. Install 30-year architectural (CertainTeed Landmark or equivalent) roof shingle as per manufacturer's specifications and/or a self-adhering modified bitumen roof system to any low sloped areas as per the Escambia County Building Code. Then install new shingle over the ridge vents. Budget 320 square feet for damaged decking replacement and install hurricane clips if they are missing. Trim any trees over hanging roof to clear roof by approximately 10' and remove all debris from site. Photographs are required for all stages of construction. Roofing Total $____________ 9.EXTERIOR DOORS: Replace the garage entry door unit with hurricane rated metal clad insulated matching door units with thresholds, weather stripping, trim, caulk and painted as per Escambia County Building Code. Install new dead bolts and lock sets that are keyed alike on all new exterior door units. Exterior Doors Total $_____________
