Site work for a water / sewer project in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The construction work will replace approximately 3,340 linear feet of existing 4-inch AC water main and 1-inch and 2-inch plastic water main with a new 4-inch, 6-inch, and 8-inch HDPE DR 11 water main and 8-inch ductile iron water main. Additionally, the project includes replacement of approximately 44 water services and the installation of four fire hydrants. The Contractor must be licensed, bonded, and insured to conduct business in the State of Washington. All work performed on this project will be subject to state prevailing wage rates as outlined in Section B 3, Supplementary Conditions, Paragraph 6. Public Utility District No. 1 of Clallam County (the District) is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer. This project is partially/fully funded through the Washington State Public Works Board (PWB) loan program with state funds. All PWB requirements and provisions must be met by general contractors and all subcontractors. The District retains the right to reject any and all bids.
