The improvement includes construction of a three (3)-pump storm water pump station including the installation of pumps, mechanical bar screens, electrical and controls building, cast-in-place concrete pump station structure, lighting, standby power generator, removal and demolition of existing pump station, Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) storm sewer, Trenchless storm sewer, Reinforced Concrete Box (RCB) culvert, cast-in-place manholes, Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) pavement, excavation and expansion of an existing detention basin, landscaping, erosion control, restoration and miscellaneous associated work including cleanup and other incidental items, all in accordance with the contract documents including Plans File No. 665-019/084, located near E. 8th Street and E. Market Street, Des Moines, Iowa. This project shall be fully completed not later than September 15, 2027, and in accordance with the Completion Provisions. Engineer's Construction Estimate. $13,000,000.00 Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction.
