Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool; and for site work for a swimming pool.
The improvement includes the demolition of existing lighting, removal of mortar joints and glazed faces of concrete block, new lighting, repointing of mortar joints throughout, painting, all in accordance with the contract documents including Plan File No. 665-001/015, located at Birdland Pool Facility, 300 Holcomb Avenue, and Ashworth Pool Facility, 102 45th Street, Des Moines, Iowa, and other locations directed by the Des Moines City Engineer. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. This project shall be fully completed not later than October 30, 2026. Engineer's Construction Estimate. $300,000.00. The City of Des Moines (Jurisdiction) reserves the right to reject any and all bids. A. Scope of demolition and removal work is indicated on drawings. B. Scope of work is indicated on drawings. The City's Overall Annual DBE/TSB Goal for this project is 5.72%, which represents a target that the City would like to achieve in including DBE/TSB participation on City contracts
