Site work and paving for a civil project in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The improvement includes demolition of existing floodgate, earthwork, cast-in-place concrete floodwall, fabricated steel roller flood gate, sheet piling, Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) pavement, pavement removal, storm sewer, construction survey, temporary traffic control, pavement markings, erosion control, site restoration, and other incidental items, all in accordance with the contract documents including Plan File No. 661-091/129, located at the intersection of George Flagg Parkway and Fleur Drive in Des Moines, Iowa. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. This project shall be fully completed December 12, 2025 and in accordance with the Completion Provisions. Engineer's Construction Estimate. $2,950,000.00 Work on each improvement shall be commenced upon approval of the contract by the Council, and completed as stated below. The City of Des Moines (Jurisdiction) reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
