As of January 6, 2025, the project was awarded to Fernandes Construction, Inc, with an awarded amount of $221,796.92. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This project shall include, but not limited to, milling and paving (the western block of Lake Avenue), Storm Drainage repairs, miscellaneous concrete curbing and the construction of handicapped accessible ramps as detailed on the construction plans, located in the Borough of Spring Lake Heights, Monmouth County, New Jersey. BID SECURITY: Bid Security is required in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid, but not in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) as set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:11-21 The Borough of Spring Lake Heights reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or to waive any Bid defect where such defect is not detrimental to the best interest of the Borough and fairness of the bidding process. The right is also reserved to reject any and all bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.2 or if it is determined they do not meet the intent of the specifications in the Contract Documents. The right is also reserved to increase or decrease the quantities specified in the manner designated in the Contract Documents.
