Site work for a water / sewer project in Spring Lake, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work in shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, services, equipment, transportation and all else necessary to do all work associated with the construction of haul roads, dredging of sediment, and sediment transport and disposal to the location shown on the plan, together with miscellaneous related work items. Checks shall be written to the order of Leon S. Avakian, Inc. for each set of documents.Bids must be made on the standard proposal form in a manner designated therein and required by the specifications. They shall be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Spring Lake bearing on the outside the name of the bidder, his address and the name of the contract for which the bid is submitted. Bids must be accompanied by a certificate from a surety company stating that it will provide the specified performance and maintenance bonds in the event that the contract is awarded to the bidder. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for ten percent of the amount of the bid, not to exceed$20,000, drawn upon an incorporated bank or trust company, payable to the Borough of Spring Lake, as guarantee that in case the contract is awarded the bidder, he will, within ten days thereafter execute such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond. The Mayor and Council reserve the right to reject any and all bids, or to waive informality of any bid.
