Bid No. 2568 Curtainwall Replacements at HW Mountz School. All necessary bid specifications and bid forms may be secured upon request to the architect. A non-refundable fee for each bid package is required. Bid documents may be picked up in person or sent by delivery service upon receipt of the fee and recipient's delivery service account information. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelope(s) and delivered to the Office of the School Business Administrator. The envelope is to bear the title "Curtainwall Replacements at HW Mountz School," Bid Number 2568, Name and Address of the Bidder, Bid Opening Date, and Bid Opening Time. No bids shall be received after the designated time. The Board does not accept electronic submissions of bids. There will be a pre-bid meeting at the HW Mountz School; attendance is not mandatory, but all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Bidders are required to comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. Bidders must submit a statement setting forth the names and addresses of all persons and entities that own ten percent or more of its stock or interest of any type at all levels of ownership. Bidders and/or their subcontractor shall be classified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction as C026 Curtain Walls and have at least five years of experience on similar scale projects. Bidders must be qualified by the Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction for work exceeding $20,000. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check made payable to the Spring Lake Borough Board of Education, for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the total bid, not to exceed $20,000. The bid package will include other documents that must be completed and returned with the bid. Failure to comply with instructions and complete all required forms may be cause for disqualification and rejection of the bid. All contractors named must possess a valid and current New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development Public Works Contractor's Registration Certificate at the time the proposal is received. The Board reserves the right to reject any non-responsive bids or all bids, and to waive minor informalities or non-material exceptions.
