The County of Rockingham, (the County) a political subdivision of the State of Virginia is seeking proposals from Electrical Lighting contractors to upgrade the exterior lighting at the Old Circuit Courthouse. If an offeror has questions about any specifications or other solicitation documents, the Offeror should contact the County no later than ten working days before the due date. Any revisions to this RFP will be made only by an addendum issued by the County The County further reserves the right to reject any proposal if the evidence submitted by, The selected firm, under the direction of the County, shall perform in a satisfactory and proper manner all the necessary services required under this solicitation including, but not necessarily limited to, the following services: a. Design and engineer a new lighting scheme for the courthouse exterior. b. Remove and discard existing exterior lighting fixtures together with old wiring. c. Coordinate work with hardscape contractor who will be replacing the paver sidewalk around the courthouse to include the installation of any necessary electrical conduit. d. Rewire according to design and code regulations. e. Install and make proper adjustments to new lighting fixtures. f. Clean up all construction debris and remove from premises. g. Make repairs to the courtyard caused by any equipment use on the grounds. h.
