The Scope of Work Includes: FY 2024 Locations on Antioch Hwy, Withers Road and one location on April Road Drainage Pipe Replacements All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the Clinch County Board of Commissioners in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the Clinch County Board of Commissioners. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount. All work on the project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days of date work begins. The Contractor shall be a current Prequalified Contractor with the Georgia Department of Transportation, Office of Contract Administration or shall be approved in writing prior to bid being opened by the Clinch County Board of Commissioners. A copy of the Contractors Notice of Contractor Qualification as issued by the Georgia Department of Transportation or a copy of an approval letter from the Clinch County Board of Commissioners must be submitted with the bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive informalities, and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner has the right to add or to delete from the Contract once it has been awarded. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of the bids.
