Furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation of striping and signage improvements to Various County Roads for the Clinch County, Georgia 2023 Off System Safety Action Project Striping and Signage Improvements 1. Project Location: Clinch County, Georgia 2. All questions received and answers will be provided to all contractors in an addendum such as this. Any questions submitted after this deadline will not be answered since an addendum can't be issued within the minimum 72-hour Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. Clinch County Board of Commissioners may select a successful low bidder after evaluation of all bids. The Scope of Work Includes: Striping and Signage Improvements to: Various County Roads (Total of 31.684 Miles) All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of Clinch County in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for Clinch County. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to Clinch County, Georgia as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract. All work on the project must be completed within 150 consecutive calendar days of when work begins. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive informalities, and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner has the right to add or to delete from the Contract once it has been awarded.
