Renovation of a mixed-use development in Pittsford, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The project consists of all necessary prep to perform the indicated work in the following areas: Classroom Unit Ventilator Replacements 1. Removal and replacement (32) CUVs, and associate equipment per the bid documents prepared by Ameresco. All equipment shall be furnished and installed by this contractor. 2. Addition of (8) heat-pump style mini-splits. All equipment shall be furnished and installed by this contractor. Electrical Service Upgrades and Electrical Distribution 3. Installation of new 225 kVA transformer, disconnects, (2) electrical panels, a new 15 kVA transformer, and power distribution throughout the building for new cooling equipment. All electrical equipment shall be furnished and installed by this contractor. Electrical work at Pittsford Area Schools shall start as soon as practical depending on supply and delivery of equipment with a goal of starting in spring of 2025. HVAC work is planned for summer of 2025. One bidder may be selected for all scopes, or separate bidders may be selected for the mechanical and electrical scopes. The successful bidder(s) will be a subcontractor to Ameresco, who will hold their contract. Lump sum proposals are being entertained for the work of this proposal. Ameresco shall hold the contract. The bid shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the Owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the School Board, or the Superintendent of Schools. Also required is a sworn and notarized affidavit of compliance to the Iran Economic Sanctions Act. The Owner will not accept a bid that does not include these sworn and notarized statements. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or a satisfactory SuretyBid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid price as guaranty. No bid shall be considered unless it is accompanied by the required guaranty. Checks shall be made payable to Pittsford Area Schools. Such cash, checks, or bid bonds will be returned to all except the three lowest bidders for each contract within ten (10) days after the opening of bids, and the remaining cash, checks, or bid bonds will be returned promptly after the Owner and the accepted bidders have executed the Contract, or if no award has been made, within sixty (60) days after the date of the opening of bids, upon demand of the bidder at any time thereafter, so long as he has not been notified of the acceptance of his bid. The right to accept and/or reject any and all proposals and to waive any and all informalities and/or irregularities in bid proposals submitted during the bidding process is reserved by the Owner, which right may be exercised at the sole discretion of the Owner.
