Renovation of a communication facility in Saint Charles, Missouri. Design plans call for the renovation of a communication facility.
The purpose of this request for proposal is to establish high density wireless network coverage for the Saint Charles County Family Arena. This design will provide wireless connectivity to event guests on the venue floor, entire seating area (bowl), premium suite/entertainment areas and high traffic areas such as entrances/exits (gates).The Offeror or Offerors in partnership should provide an end to end solution for the design and installation of wireless network services including rf design, hardware placement, hardware mounting kits, software, hardware and software programming, installation materials, wiring, network performance verification and tuning after deployment. The offeror will work in conjunction with and consult with staff from the County's Department of Information Systems for technical specification and guidance. Proposals may be submitted for only Design, only Installation or both. Network hardware and licensing will be provided by the County. The IS Department currently provides network infrastructure to service front office business operations, point of sale operations and a limited wireless network presence in the concourse area to support venue operations. As of February 3, 2025, the design firm has been selected. Further details regarding firm construction and completion timelines have not been released.
