As of November 8, 2024, Bid extended from October 31, 2024 at 2:00 PM ET to November 14, 2024 At 2:00 PM. Engineer's Estimate $12,000,000 DESCRIPTION OF WORK A. The Work consists of the reconstruction of the MBTA Hingham Ferry Dock Modification. The work includes demolishing the existing steel barge, aluminum gangway, and timber pier, fabrication and installation of three (3) - 115’x30’ steel barges with a total of ten (10) steel mooring piles concrete filled, installation of two (2) aluminum bridges, a series of ramps and platforms on the barges, and concrete sidewalks and seawall as part of the pedestrian access routes in accordance with ADA and MAAB regulations for the specified tidal ranges. Installation of timber piles with concrete deck platforms. Work also includes the construction of foundation pad for the emergency generator, as well as routing the necessary utilities from the generator to the Ferry Dock. Additionally, utility work includes supply and installation of electrical, communication, sewer pump-out, water, and fire protection.
