Site work for a water / sewer project in Everett, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The District will not consider bids received after the above times and dates. Emailed bids shall be accompanied by a copy of the required bid bond if applicable. Project Description: The work to be performed for this project consists of replacement of the existing Lowell Larimer 1 Lift Station including, but not limited to, demolition of the existing lift station facilities, temporary power service and standby power generation, construction of a new 12-foot diameter wet well with three new submersible sewer pumps, new equipment and instrumentation, a new electrical control building and electrical components, a new valve and flow meter vault, a new 54-inch diameter saddle manhole, epoxy lined ductile iron force main piping, installation of a new bypass pumping connection, rehabilitation and modifications to the existing wet well in order to convert the structure to a combined rock catch and surge manhole, a new generator and generator canopy, a new standalone diesel fuel tank, protective coatings, installation of site retaining/catchment walls, site excavation and grading, site drainage facilities, site fencing and gates, site lighting, cement concrete surfacing and HMA paving, general restoration and site improvements, and all other associated items of work shown in the Contract Documents for a complete and operable lift station. The Engineer's estimated cost of the project is $3,516,000 with 200 working days in the contract, and there are no State or Federal funds associated with this project. This contract involves "public work". Workers performing work in conjunction with the project shall receive the prevailing rate of wage pursuant to the State Prevailing Wages requirements. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the District. The Silver Lake Water & Sewer District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in the bidding documents.
