Renovation of an educational facility in Renton, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Description of Work: The Work includes, but is not limited to: Replacement of (1) air handling unit and (1) chemical exhaust fan with new. Replacement of (1) domestic water thermostatic mixing valve. Addition of (2) split system heat pumps to existing office spaces and modifications to existing HRU ventilation System to serve these zones. Project includes modification of associated ductwork, piping, power and seismic restraint for new equipment. Architectural and structural modifications to existing exterior wall openings to accommodate new air handling unit enlarged ductwork. New concrete pads for grade mounted HVAC equipment. Interior wall modifications for exhaust system revision. Architect/Engineer's Cost Opinion: $1,305,837.00 Bid Bond: This Project is estimated to cost $250,000.00 or more and must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, or bid bond, equal to 5% of the total Base Bid only, excluding taxes. Make checks payable to the Renton School District; furnish bond executed by a licensed bonding agency authorized to do business in the locality of the project. Right to Reject: The Owner reserves the right to accept the lowest or any other Bid, the right to reject any or all Bids, and the right to waive any irregularities in any Bid.
