The Town of Weare, New Hampshire, is seeking competitive bids from qualified contractors for the supply and installation of a 24'x60' steel carport with five bays. The carport must meet the specifications outlined below and be designed to accommodate local snow loads. Scope of Work: 1. Structure Specifications: o Dimensions: 24 feet wide by 60 feet long. o Construction: 12-Gage Steel frame construction, not exceeding 12' in height. o Bays: Five bays total. Four Bays: Each with a 10-foot opening. One Bay: With a 12-foot opening, equipped with a garage door. 1. The 12' bay will be separated from the remaining bays by a wall. o Roof Load Capacity: Must be rated to support a minimum snow load of 90 pounds per square foot (lb./psf) and rated for 115 mph wind load. 2. Materials: o Frame: Steel with appropriate coating for weather resistance. o Roofing: Suitable material that meets the load capacity requirement. o Garage Door: Standard size 12-foot opening garage door with weather-resistant features. Installation: o Site Preparation: The site will be levelled in advance by the Town with new 3" asphalt installed. o Assembly: Complete assembly of the carport structure as per provided specifications. o Inspection: Ensure structure meets all local building codes and regulations.
