The North Slope Borough is seeking a proposal from a contractor to construct, maintain, and decommission community winter access trails from existing gravel road infrastructure to communities of: Utqiagvik, Atqasuk, Wainwright, Drill Site 2P (2P) or alternative site, Galbraith Lake and Anaktuvuk Pass. The selected contractor will plan, schedule, and escort residential caravan transits on a weekly basis as weather and trail conditions permit, and execute applicable stakeholder engagement prior to, during and after CWAT season for Bid Document packages. Question Deadline 09/27/2024 at 5:00 PM AKT Last day for submittal questions shall be in writing directed to Qinugan Roddy, Assistant to the Land Management Administrator, Qinugan.Roddy@north-slope.org. The work to be performed under this Contract shall commence on issuance of the Notice to Proceed and shall be substantially completed no later than the 31st day of December, 2025. Final completion is to occur no later than the 31st day of January, 2026. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities or informalities in any of the proposals.
