This project involves providing technical services to install and upgrade security systems at primary school entrances, ensuring controlled access, and enhancing the overall safety of the school environment. The North Slope Borough format for the proposed contract consists of the standard Borough Technical Services Agreement with work to be assigned using task orders. Exhibit A of the agreement includes a description of the work anticipated for this contract. During contract negotiations a list of required tasks, deliverables, and a project schedule will be developed and included in Exhibit A of the contract. The Borough reserves the right to include additional terms and conditions during negotiations that are within the general scope of the original RFP. Insurance provisions and required coverages are contained in the Technical Services Agreement. Coverage for other than Professional Liability Insurance may be modified according to circumstances if a proposer fully and clearly demonstrates to the satisfaction of the Borough that the Borough will not incur any liability, or is at little risk of liability, as a consequence of the proposed modification. Proposer should not assume request for modifications to this agreement will be granted. This project is intended to provide major repairs, upgrades, and other improvements to existing access controls, video surveillance and PA Intercom systems at various facilities throughout the North Slope Borough School District. It will also provide for the installation of new systems in facilities that currently do not have coverage. The upgrades and new system installations conducted under this project will be designed and implemented in a manner consistent with current standards for the North Slope Borough and North Slope Borough School District. The primary goals are to: 1. Enhance Controlled Access: Implement controlled access measures at primary school entrances to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure student and staff safety. 2. Install and Upgrade Crash Bar Alarms: Integrate crash bar alarms on selected doors to provide immediate alerts in case of unauthorized exit or forced entry. 3. Program and Upgrade Genetec Video Surveillance Systems: Upgrade the existing Genetec Video Surveillance Security Systems, ensuring all video monitoring equipment is fully operational, updated, and programmed according to the latest security protocols. 4. Replace Obsolete P2000 Access Controls: Replace outdated P2000 access control systems with new, state-of-the-art technology to improve the overall security and reliability of access control across all district facilities. 5. PA Intercom Systems: Upgrade existing PA Intercom systems, ensuring all Intercom systems are fully operational, updated, programmed according to the latest security protocols and integrated into the existing systems. Ensure upgraded systems have compatibility with existing PA Intercom Software Intrado Revolution.
