As of February 6, 2026 the project has been awarded. The North Slope Borough is seeking sealed bids for construction services for the Water Storage Tanks 3 and 4 upgrades at Point Hope, Alaska. The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, transportation, subsistence, expertise, and incidentals necessary to upgrade Tanks 3 and 4. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check payable to the order of the North Slope Borough for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal, or accompanied by a bid bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal, of a corporate surety licensed to do business in the State of Alaska, conditioned that the bidder will pay the Borough, as liquidated damages, the amount specified in the bond, unless it enters into a contract in accordance with its proposal and furnishes the performance and payment bond with surety satisfactory to the Borough in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and insurance certificate within ten (10) days from the date on which it is notified that it is the successful bidder, its check (or bid bond) and the amount thereof shall be forfeited to the Borough.
