Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Naples, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
FY2024-25: Improvements to facility including but not limited to paver replacement, building improvements which will be included in the CRA CIP in the amount of $150,000. In addition, $950,000 is being requested to construct an office and restroom to fulfill the needs of the park, and this includes the design/planning. The park has been open for a few years now and a restroom is needed in the playground area to serve the park users, and a park office is needed for staff to be able to be present. This project would be funded out of the Baker Park Fund. FY2028-29: $100,000 is requested to maintain the level of service with the park to include any needed improvements. As of September 20, 2024, this project is included in the city's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
