Site work for a civil project in Lytton, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The general nature of the Work to be carried out under the Contract consists of but is not necessarily limited to the following: Construction of a new two lane, 105.8 metre long, 2 span, steel plate girder superstructure with a cast-in-place concrete deck and parapets on a cast-in-place concrete pier and abutments on piled footings. Roadway and drainage construction including clearing, grubbing, organic stripping, asphalt pavement cutting, asphalt pavement removal, roadway and drainage excavation, embankment construction, granular base supply and construction, drainage ditching and culvert installation. Production of paving aggregate mixing, hauling, and placing and the installation of precast concrete barriers. Signage and layout of permanent markings. Roadside development including hydraulic seeding and site restoration. Work involves most common aspects of highway construction, as well as, without limitation, the following complex or unusually aspects: Demolition, removal, and disposal of existing Sackum Overhead, including footing removal.
