Location 3785 S Neece St., Corona, CA 92879 Contract Time. Substantial Completion of the Work Must Be Achieved Within One Hundred Sixty (160) Calendar Days From the Date of Commencement. Final Completion Must Be Achieved Within Fifteen (15) Calendar Days After the Occurrence of Substantial Completion. Liquidated Damages. The Construction Contract Includes Provisions: (1) Permitting the County to Assess Liquidated Damages to the Contractor of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) Per Day for Each Day After the Expiration of the Contract Time for Substantial Completion That the Work is Not Substantially Completed by Contractor; and (2) for Payment by County to Contractor of Liquidated Damages to Contractor of Eight Hundred Dollars ($800) Per Day for Each Day of Compensable Delay for Which Contractor is Entitled to a Contract Adjustment of the Contract Time and Contract Price. For Projects $200,000 or Over the Contractor Shall Submit a Bid Guarantee Bond in an Amount No Less Than 5% of the Total Contract Price, Along With the Bid. Performance and Payment Bonds. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish: (1) a Performance Bond in the Form Included in the Bidding Documents Guaranteeing Faithful Performance of All Obligations Under the Construction Contract; and (2) a Payment Bond That Complies With the Requirements of Civil Code Section 9554 in the Form Included in the Bidding Documents. The Penal Sums of the Performance Bond and Payment Bond Shall Each Be Initially in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Price.
