Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in Corona, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; for asbestos abatement for a fire / police facility; and water / sewer project.
The Project generally consists of the demolition and disposal of the old Corona police department building, including but not limited to the existing hardscape and flatwork, utility disconnection/removals, pest abatement, abatement of hazardous materials, miscellaneous removals, and fill and compaction as necessary to clear the site and leave the existing site flush to surrounding surface elevations. This project does involve hazardous material abatement of lead and asbestos. Other Details All prospective bidders shall access the Documents & Attachments Tab to review and download all bid documents posted on the website for the Project. The solicitation documents include, but are not limited to, bid and contract documents, specifications, drawings, appendices, and required bid forms. Bidders shall complete the required bid forms in their entirety and submit electronically through the system. Bidders will not be able to submit their bids without uploading each of the required documents through the system. Bidders shall use the Line Items Tab to submit their bid price. All addenda shall be acknowledged electronically through the system. Notes The City shall award the Contract for the Project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as determined from the total bid amount. Please allow sufficient time to fully complete and upload each and every document prior to the bid submission deadline. The system will not accept late bids. No exceptions. Failure to submit electronic bids shall result in a non-responsive bid and will not be considered for award. Special Notices Local Programs & Policies The work is subject to the payment of not less than prevailing wages pursuant to Chapter 1 (beginning at Section 1720 et seq. ) of Part 7 of Division 2 of the California Labor Code, as well as Title 8, Section 16000 et seq. of the California Code of Regulations ("Prevailing Wage Laws"). Pursuant to SB 854, which amended the Prevailing Wage Laws, certain categories of services are subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. Beginning March 1, 2015, with very limited exceptions no consultant or subconsultant may be listed on a proposal for these contracts unless registered with the DIR pursuant to Labor Code section 1725. 5.
