Renovation of an educational facility in Ketchikan, Alaska. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
FY 2024/25 Generator Cover: will cover a 750KW generator to stop water intrusions. ($100,000) FY 2025 Replace Stage Rigging: The current rigging is 30 years old and has come to end of its service life. The District conducted an inspection in the spring indicating a complete replacement. ($500,000) FY 2025 Replace Underground Fuel Tanks: There is significant liability with ground oil tanks. This tank is 30 years old and is a concern that there may be a breach and leak into surrounding soils requiring mitigation. ($150,000) FY2025 Installation of a Redundancy Boiler: This will replace boiler 3, which failed during the winter waiting for the two other boilers to be replaced. ($250,000) As of September 23, 2024, this project is included in the city's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
