Spartanburg County Parks is seeking proposals for the installation of 6400 linear feet of 4-foothigh commercial grade black vinyl chain link fence. Fencing should include 2.5-inch terminal/gate posts, 2-inch line posts, 1 5/8-inch top rail, 6-gauge bottom tension cable, and 8- gauge class 2B chain link fabric. Project will also include (5) 10-foot maintenance double gates with hinges and lockable latches, (8) 4-foot-wide pedestrian gates with hinges and lockable latches, and (4) 10-foot gates that will be put on current fencing and will include hinges and lockable latches. Vadumar McMillan Park is located at 591 McMillan Blvd. in Boiling Springs. The park includes 7 soccer fields that are lettered A through G. All the fencing and gates for this project will enclose these fields. There is some existing fencing that will be tied into on fields D, E, and F. All measurements and layouts are included in the attached drawings. Fence locations and gate location will be laid out by the parks department before installation. Written questions shall be submitted at least five (5) calendar days prior to Proposal's submission date. Proposer shall submit with their proposal a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the proposal price. This bond may be in the form of Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bank Money Order of any national or state bank and shall be made payable to Spartanburg County. Proposals submitted without being accompanied by any of the foregoing, as required, shall be considered non-responsive and will be rejected. The successful proposer, within three (3) working days after acceptance of the proposer's offer by the County, shall furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond in the amount of the total proposal price. After award of purchase order, any changes that result in additional cost to Spartanburg County must be submitted in writing to Sean Veilleux at sveilleux@spartanburgcounty.org for prior written approval.
