Introduction: Forestry, Fire, and State Lands (UTFFSL) and the Pine Valley Ranger District, Dixie National Forest is requesting Services in this contract to provide up to 50 acres of lop and scatter and 202 acres of cut and pile type work: Total acres awarded will be dependent on availability of funds. Approximately 252 Acres Total. Location and Description: Work under this Contract is located within the Grass Valley Creek sub watershed on the east side of Grass Valley, north of the town of Pine Valley in Washington County, Utah. The legal locations of the treatment units are Township 39 South, Range 14 West, Sections 10, 11, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, 28, 29, and 30, Township 39 South, Range 15 West, Sections 25 and 36. The work locations are shown on the attached vicinity and treatment unit maps. Elevations range from 6,900 feet to 8,100 feet within the project area. Access to the site: Access is possible by a combination of paved highways, county, Forest Service dirt surface roads, hiking trails, and overland hiking. Vehicle travel is limited to designated routes. There are remote units in the project area that require foot access. This contract will result in one purchase order contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible bidder. Length of the Contract Project Performance Time: Project must be completed by or before June 30th 2025.
