As of November 1, 2024, we came to the conclusion that our specs were not detailed enough and will be reposting the bid when improved specs have been written. The Truro School Committee is seeking sealed bids to install and furnish all labor, materials and equipment, and to perform all operations required for the upgrade and expansion of a security and remote entry system at the Truro Central School, 317 Route 6 Truro, MA. Any questions regarding the contract documents shall be submitted in writing no later than October 11, 2024, at 2:30pm. Requests for information shall be emailed to: riley@truromass.org. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Deposit in the form of a certified, bank treasurer's or cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Truro School Committee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid price. Bid Bonds shall be issued by a company qualified to do business in the Commonwealth. No bidder may withdraw his Bid for a period of thirty (30) days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays, after the actual date of the opening thereof. The successful Bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond both in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Price, with a corporate surety approved by the Owner, for the faithful performance of the contract. The Truro School Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informality contained therein, and to award the contract as decided to be in the best interest of the Town. Scope- Configure and install a remote-access security interface with a platform that unifies access control, main entry intercom, and camera monitoring, with mobile device access capability. Configure 19 exterior doors with hold-open sensors and integrate with the security platform to include mobile notifications. Replace 46 interior/exterior entry control keypads with updated models and integrate with existing burglar/lockdown alarm system. Install 4 new indoor security cameras. Install 1 of new outdoor security cameras. Replace 5 indoor security cameras. Replace 20 outdoor security cameras. All new and replacement cameras should be ONVIF compliant with a minimum resolution of 1080p / 40px/ft. Enable all new and replacement cameras to interface with the computer/mobile-based monitoring platform. Expand the existing lockdown alarm system to include 2 new panic buttons and 2 new blue strobe lights and integrate with the existing burglar alarm system.
