SLV-CB SHOP FLOOR AND APRON REPAIR The slab on the right side of the Alamosa shop building needs to be removed and replaced, an estimated 800-ft2 area and 18-inch-thick slab. The vault in the middle of the slab can either be removed or left in place; either way the open space would be filled and compacted. The vault dimensions are 26.25 ft. long x 3.4 ft. wide x 5.2 ft. deep (464 ft3 ). To prevent future moisture accumulation that could lead to another damaging freeze-thaw effect, a subsurface drain to draw water away from the shop foundation could be installed. Also recommended is to improve the overall drainage scheme of the paved areas around the shop building. This could include removing the drain at the disused wash bay and paving it over and repaving other areas so that runoff flows away from high traffic areas where it could otherwise freeze over and become a hazard. There are existing drains in the gravel parking lot area that the new drainage scheme can flow to. The heaving area outside the north entrance of the shop will need to be removed and replaced. The perimeter sidewalks will need to be repaired or replaced along with deteriorating sidewalk aprons. Location and Hours of Operations The Reclamation's facility is located at 10900 Highway 160 East, Alamosa, Colorado 81101 in Alamosa County at Latitude 37o 28' 22.3" and Longitude 105o 50' 32.1". Alamosa Field Division facility is approximately 1.7 miles northeast of downtown Alamosa, Colorado on US Highway 160. Reclamation's standard business hours are Monday through Friday from 07:30 AM to 4:00 PM MDT except Federal Holidays. Reclamation is a smoke, drug, and alcohol-free facility. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT: In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction FAR 36.204(b) is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. Period of Performance: 11/25/2024 to 02/24/2025 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
