Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Alamosa, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of 7/15/25, Addendum 1 extends the bid date to July 29, 2025 at 11:00am. The work includes the removal and replacement of existing alley roadway structures as described in the provided construction documents, including aggregate base, reinforced concrete pavement, vertical curb and gutter, etc. from San Juan Avenue to Edison Avenue. Future Scope Note that this project is part of a larger alley improvement program that will include alley improvements from San Juan Avenue to State Avenue and State Avenue to Hunt Avenue to be completed in 2026. This work will be contracted via a separate bid in Summer 2026, depending upon the completion of the current hotel construction at the corner of 6th and State Streets . The successful bidder will be required to begin the work outlined herein and depicted on the project plans in August 2025, with the expectation to complete the project by October 2025. Any and all questions shall be submitted in writing prior to close of business on July 18, 2025 by electronic mail to Deron Granville at dgranville@ci.alamosa.co.us. The City of Alamosa reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in bids submitted and to accept whichever bid that is in the best interest of the City, at its sole discretion.
