Demolition and site work for a residential development in La Conner, Washington. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 1,000-square-foot residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

SCOPE OF WORK: Complete Demolition of approximately two-1000 square foot single story houses, which were built approximately in 1935. The use of steel plates to access the site is required to preserve the culturally sensitive nature of the soils on site. The Contractor shall include the demolition, removal and proper disposal of all structures but not limited to the following: a. Buildings & improvements b. Foundations c. Attached decks d. Debris e. Attached canopies f. Ramps g. Basements (fill material shall be incidental to building demolition) - verify h. All wiring, plumbing, conduit i. Sprinklers j. Slabs k. Porches l. Chimneys m. Utility disconnections and coordination with jurisdictions n. All onsite personal property o. Steps p. Above-ground and below-ground supports, including slabs, footers, and piers q. Fixtures and equipment r. All interior contents s. All subsurface content removed and remediated Any questions for the project can be directed to the following person identified above and must be received no later than 4:00 PM on 10/21/2024. TIME FOR COMPLETION: a. Contractors submitting bids pursuant to this RFP shall be required to commit to the execution of a contract for the work prior to the preconstruction meeting and/ or within Thirty (30) days of award notification. Baring normal work stoppages such as weather delays and Holidays. Contractors submitting bids pursuant to this RFP shall be required to commit to the completion of the work on or before the date stated in the "Notice to Proceed". All deliverables and time schedules to be negotiated and agreed upon by all parties OR with all subcontracting companies and SITC prior to issuance of NTP. However, all work Shall be completed substantially by the end of 30 days of work. If bonds are required, then such bonds shall be for the full Contract Price. Every calendar day past 30 days (Possibly negotiated, must meet functionality deadline) that work is not complete the contractor shall pay a 400.00 per day Penalty to SITC excluding weather-related circumstances.
