The City of Durango invites interested, qualified persons or firms, capable of providing the required services, to submit bids for improvements that generally consist of installation of subsurface drainage systems, placement of precast manholes and drop inlets, and paving of alley surface. Paving will incorporate both hot mix asphalt and permeable paver stones. The City of Durango reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities and minor irregularities in bids, and to accept the bid deemed, in the opinion of the City, to be in the best interest of the City of Durango. This project is being bid in accordance with the City of Durango Purchasing Policy. Generally, the work under this contract includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools & supplies, transportation, safety equipment and other items necessary to complete the work that will include the installation of drainpipes and water infiltration systems through the length of the alley, setting (2) precast Strom Drain Manholes structures and (2) precast Drop Inlet structures, placements of Concrete curb and gutter, concrete edging, and sidewalk. The new drain system will be tied into existing city storm drain infrastructure. Permeable pavers will be placed along the center portion of the alley and outer sections will be paved with hot mix asphalt. Permeable pavers shall be Borgert Drena Montage interlocking permeable pavers, or an approved equivalent.
