Town of Fairfax is seeking a qualified firm to provide work related to storm drainage and roadway surface improvements along an important route within the Town of Fairfax. Project improvements includes asphalt pavement milling and filling, clearing, grubbing, traffic controls, installation of storm drain facilities, large trash capture device, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk widening and repair and driveway approaches, utility relocations and adjustments to grade as indicated in the plans and these specifications. The estimated construction cost is $1,785,000 This Project requires a valid California contractor's license for the following classification(s): Class A - General Engineering. Town may not accept a Bid Proposal from or enter into the Contract with a bidder, without proof that the bidder is registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations ("DIR") to perform public work pursuant to Labor Code 1725.5, subject to limited legal exceptions. Prevailing Wage Requirements: General.
