Site work and paving for a road / highway in House Springs, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The proposed work includes a new asphalt road surface, adding 4' paved shoulders, with edge line and centerline rumble strips. New striping, signage, and guardrail is also included within the project. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 from the current version of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening The contractor shall have a maximum of One Hundred and Thirty-Eight (138) Working Days, or a Completion Date of December 31, 2026, whichever comes first A cashiers check or bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. A certificate of insurance shall be submitted with each proposal The DBE goal for this project is 10%. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project. All bids shall be made on the forms provided. Three (3) copies of the bid must be submitted, one (1) being original inked. Jefferson County, Missouri reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bids received, and to award the contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder with MoDOT concurrence.
