HY Point Lift Station Force Main Improvements The Hy Point Lift Station Force Main Improvements project shall include, but not be limited to: 1. Construction of 3,513 LF of 8 IN DR-11 IPS HDPE sanitary force main, to include isolation valve assemblies, combination air valve assemblies, and all other associated appurtenances. 2. Construction of a 546 LF, 16 IN Dia steel cased highway/ railroad bore via auger boring methods. 3. Construction of a gravity sewer main consisting of 724 LF of 10 IN SDR-35 PVC, three precast concrete manholes and all associated appurtenances. 4. Construction of 2795 LF of 4 IN DR-11 IPS HDPE sanitary force main, to include isolation valves, combination air valve assemblies, and all other necessary appurtenances. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246. Failure to include the label information on the sealed bid envelope shall be returned without further consideration. Each bidder must submit a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of their total bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities, and to determine the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder, and to award the contract on that basis. All Labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid a wage no less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages of work of a similar character in this locality as established by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, Division of Labor Standards.
