SFY 2023 Road Resurfacing/Improvement Project - Stone Road (from Cox's Ave to Block 28, Lot 17): The project requires clearing the site, 200 LF of 24-inch HDPE recharge trench, three (3) Type "E" inlets, 1620 SY DGA, 300 tons HMA Intermediate Course, 250 tons HMA Surface Course, driveway restoration, pavement striping and marking, regulatory and warning signs and 1085 SY of Edge Restoration. A Buy America Compliance Plan is required to confirm that the material meets the Buy America requirements and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), Pub. L. No. 117-58, which includes the Build America, Buy America Act (the Act). Pub. L. No. 117-58, 70901-52 as specified in 106.03. See Special Provisions Section 106. A Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Township of Eagleswood in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security, but not more than $20,000.00. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the amount of the total bid within ten (10) days from the date of written acceptance of his proposal. Certificates of Insurance will also be required. The Township of Eagleswood hereby reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The Township of Eagleswood reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any and all bids. The Township further reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any or all bids submitted, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsible bidder based on the lowest Total Bid Amount and to make such awards or take such action as may be in the best interest of the Township.
