separate sealed bids will be received for the following project: Eagleswood Municipal Complex Public Park Upgrades, Pickle Ball, Basketball and Various Park Improvements with Community Development Block Grant 2023 Funds : The project consists of the rehabilitation of one (1) existing basketball court with a new colored surface, backboards and nets, installation of a new pickle ball court, milling and paving of approximately 442 SY adjacent to Railroad Avenue, installation of 850 SF of five (5) foot wide sidewalks, rehabilitation of 187 LF of existing 8 foot chain link fencing and 580 LF of 10 Foot Chain link fencing, install 130 LF new 8 foot chain link fencing, furnish and install four (4) picnic tables including all labor, materials and equipment for a complete project. CHECK MUST BE MADE PAYABLE TO TOWNSHIP OF EAGLESWOOD. If a Fed EX or UPS account is not available and they have to be mailed, an additional payment of $30.00 will be required and that check must be made payable to Owen, Little & Associates, Inc. Bids may be submitted by mail or in person at any time prior to the time for receiving and opening the same at the Township Finance Office. The Township of Eagleswood reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any and all bids. A Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Township of Eagleswood in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security, but not more than $20,000.00. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the amount of the total bid within ten (10) days from the date of written acceptance of his proposal. Certificates of Insurance will also be required. The Township of Eagleswood hereby reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof. The Township further reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any or all bids submitted, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsible bidder based on the lowest Total Bid Amount and to make such awards or take such action as may be in the best interest of the Township.
