The County’s Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to authorize advertising bids for construction of new courts. “We’re always looking for future enhancements,” said Bedford County’s Director of Parks and Recreation, Chris Higgins. “Times change and needs of the community change.” ________________________ The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals to design and build six new pickleball courts and one new basketball court at County Recreation Fields Facility at 780 Bedford Ave Ext, Bedford, VA 24523.
