Work Location:856 Orange St. Bedford, VA 24523 The intent and purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to establish a contract with a qualified contractor to grind brush at the Town of Bedford Landfill Transfer Station located at 856 Orange St. Bedford, VA 24523. The Contractor shall provide the requested services bi-annually. In addition, the Contractor agrees to be available for on-call services in the event that the brush pile unexpectedly exceeds anticipated levels. Such on-call services shall be initiated upon request by the Town and shall be provided by the Contractor in a timely manner. Addenda/Questions Published Town Staff 11/24/24 All questions must be submitted. If necessary, an addendum will be issued and posted to the Town's website on the Bid Posting which can be found at online Question Deadline 11/23/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Event bid note: A removable media storage device containing a copy of the proposal with all confidential and proprietary material redacted must be included in the proposal packet. The notation "ITB-2025-002 Brush Grinding", the Bidder's name, and the specified opening time and date must be clearly marked on the front of that sealed envelope or package.
