Environment and Climate Change is looking for the replacement of roofing on three (3) buildings within the Grand Beach Provincial Park(GBPP). The existing roofs are aged out and need to be upgraded. The existing roofs are between 15 - 20 years old. The location of the paint shop is at 1 Causeway Road GBPP and the other 2 are at 15, 001, Circle Drive GBPP. Below is a general scope of work which may not be inclusive of all work requirement for the roof replacements. Paint Shop Roof Replacement. 1 Causeway Road 1.0 Remove existing metal from roof, approximately 2350 sq. Ft. 1.1 Remove existing chimney to below roof deck and make repairs to roof deck (material included) 1.2 Remove antenna and mounts 1.3 Install new vent stack flashing (material to be included) 1.4 Install new 1 x 4 strapping over plywood roof deck. 1.5 Install new 3 x 18 metal cladding 1.6 Clean job site and remove all garbage. Note: GBPP to supply the following materials for the Paint Shop Roof Replacement: 1400 lineal feet of 1 x 4 strapping 2000 x 3-inch strip nails 44 pcs 3 x 18 brown cladding 7 pcs ridge cap 44 pcs small closure strips 44 pcs large closure strips 4500 #10 x 1.5-inch cladding screws. 1500 #12 x 1/2 inch stitch screws.
